Remote Control Improv

Original by Social Theatre™

Use a remote control for perspective taking, joint attention, and response to play.

One person holds remote control, the other person reacts to the remote. If the person holding the remote is only pushing buttons, why doesn’t the other person understand what buttons you are pushing?

  • Can you *really* control that person?
  • Can they see what buttons you are pushing?
  • What might you need to do to help them know what you are pushing?

Person with the remote can direct the other participant to follow the prompts from the remote. More details on this activity will be in the Social Theatre workshops, and Shawn’s next publications. 🙂
