Virtual Mindfulness

In teaching how to do mindfulness through video conferencing, you can share a virtual walking YouTube video and we practice making comments to recognize the surroundings with the 5 senses.  Practice together with the others (client, students, or audience) for a few minutes, and then them try it independently.

Examples of mindfulness statements using our senses:

  • I hear birds
  • I wonder what the grass would feel like.
  • I see a blue sky.
  • I might taste the wind that is lightly blowing.
  • I would probably smell flowers.
